Bar Point in beautiful Roseland

Unique holiday house to let in Cornwall's popular Roselsand Peninsula.

Bar Point has been owned by the same family for seventy years, having been built over 1937/8 just prior to World War Two. For the houses history follow this link. Architect-designed, Bar Point's layout and orientation ensure that all four bedrooms and the sitting room, dining room and sun room have a water view, either of St. Just creek or of the estuary of the River Fal which is about 1.5 miles wide at this point.

Bar Point is sited on the clifftop of the estuary to give a completly unspoilt, 170-degree view of the river estuary and its activity which includes oyster dredging under sail in the winter months, please sailing in a myriad of boats across the summer together with the regular movements of large ships visiting Falmouth for fuel or repair all the year round.

The estuary and sea view ranges from Greatwood House near the entrance to Restonguet creek, past Mylor and Falmouth harbours to Pendennis Castle and beyond, through the estuary mouth, to the 8-mile-off Manacle rocks and the entrance to the Helford River.

Bar Point is let through Portscatho Holidays. Visit our Contact Page or click on the logo below.
